Tanto podes perder alguma coisa, como nada.
Depende do jogo e do seu peso no lado do CPU.
Eu diria que essa combinação faz sentido.

Pois.

Nvidia makes semi-official statement regarding drivers telemetry
    ...
According to details first reported on Major Geeks site and caught by Reddit, the latest Nvidia Geforce drivers have added telemetry and data collecting without officially informing the public.

Although there is a somewhat decent way to get rid of unwanted telemetry for those that are concerned about privacy, it appears that these were only used by Geforce Experience to crash and bug report as well as system information needed to deliver the correct drivers and optimal settings, at least according to Nvidia.

Nvidia Job Posting Reveals 1080 Ti, Premium "Club GeForce Elite" Subscription

A recent job posting alludes to some kind of premium subscription service offering goodies such as free games and exclusive in-game items. Would you pay $10 for this?

At the end of the job posting is the really juicy stuff—a description of a previously unannounced "Club GeForce Elite" subscription "as the [loyalty] program develops," which sounds like it may be an expansion of the $8 per month GeForce Now. Club GeForce Elite would cost $10 per month. In exchange, subscribers would receive several benefits: A rotating bundle of four free games from the GFE app store per quarter (along the lines of Xbox Live Games with Gold freebies), exclusive in-game items and GeForce gear, and a tantalizingly mysterious "Free GeForce PC in the cloud subscription."

    NVIDIA Game Bundle Activation Clarification

So after some confusing information was disseminated on the web this morning, we reached out to NVIDIA to better understand the new activation process that will be required with "free" games that comes with NVIDIA video cards in the future.

First and foremost is that you will have to have GeForce Experience running on the PC you are wanting to activate the game on. Of course for GeForce Experience to work, it will require you have an NVIDIA GPU installed. If your free game came with a GTX 1070, it will require that a GTX 1070 (or better) be installed during activation.

Nvidia Tesla V100: First Volta GPU is one of the largest silicon chips ever
21-billion-transistor Volta GPU has new architecture, 12nm process, crazy performance.
    ...
High-level performance of V100 is impressive: 15 teraflops of FP32, 30 teraflops of FP16, 7.5 teraflops of FP64, and a huge 120 teraflops for dedicated tensor operations. Should Nvidia ditch the die space reserved for FP64 and tensor cores for FP32 in a future consumer product (Titan XV anyone?), the gaming potential would be massive. Feeding the V100 GPU is 16GB of HBM2 memory clocked at 1.75GHz on a 4096-bit bus for 900GB/sec of bandwidth.

Nvidia Max-Q laptops: Impressively thin, but industrial design needs work
Asus Zephyrus has an innovative cooling system, but the keyboard is hilariously bad.
    ...
Max-Q is Nvidia's attempt to make the gaming laptop more portable by giving OEMs like Asus and Clevo access to GTX 1080, GTX 1070, and GTX 1060 GPUs that hit a sweet spot between performance and power. These specially selected chips perform nearly as well as the standard laptop parts, but require far less power when under load. The GTX 1080 goes from a rated max power consumption of 150W to between 90W and 100W, the GTX 1070 goes from 115W TDP to 80W-90W, and the GTX 1060 goes from 80W to 60-70W.

Less wattage means less heat, which in turn means less cooling, resulting in thinner and quieter laptop designs.

Did NVIDIA Rig Its Computex Demo?

At Computex 2017, NVIDIA demonstrated the differences between gaming with HDR and SDR. According to PCGamer, Dmitry Novoselov of HardwareCanucks was given access to the monitor setup used for the demo after noticing the dullness of the image. Checking the monitor himself, he was able to determine that the settings were questionable. Using Mass Effect: Andromeda for the testing, it turns out his doubts were correct, the brightness and contrast were set at less than ideal settings. Quack...quack never changes.
